Since the first case of infection of SARS-CoV-2 was reported in December 2019, the ongoing pandemic of coronavirus continues to take lives and is a problem globally. I will discuss some of our work on the coronavirus pandemic, and the tools we used to understand the dynamics and disease control. I will describe some of our approaches to modelling the spread of COVID-19, and the challenges we are facing and opportunities for future explorations.
